To maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure compliance with rules in Madhubani city, the Traffic Police conducted an intensive vehicle inspection drive on Thursday evening. Led by Traffic Police Sub-Inspector Aman Kumar, a police team began checking vehicles at Gangasagar Chowk in the city around 5 PM.

During the campaign, two-wheelers and four-wheelers passing through the road were thoroughly inspected. The police team checked driving licenses, helmets, seatbelts, and essential vehicle documents of the drivers. Approximately 45 vehicles found violating traffic rules were issued challans, resulting in the collection of fines totaling about ₹1.20 lakh.

During the drive, the Traffic Police also raised awareness among drivers about traffic regulations. Police officials appealed to two-wheeler riders to wear helmets and four-wheeler drivers to use seatbelts. Additionally, they advised against using mobile phones while driving, urged adherence to speed limits, and emphasized maintaining discipline on the road.

Traffic Police SI Aman Kumar stated that continuous vehicle inspection campaigns are being carried out under the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police Yogendra Kumar to ensure adherence to traffic rules and promote road safety. He added that action would continue to be taken against rule-violating drivers as per regulations. He appealed to all drivers, stating that road safety is everyone's responsibility, urging them to follow traffic rules and prioritize their own and others' safety while driving.
