In a surprising incident from Phulhar village, Harlakhi police station area in Madhubani district, a father handed over his own son to the police along with a stolen motorcycle. The police have seized the stolen bike and arrested the accused son, registering an FIR at Harlakhi police station.

The father, Ranjit Kumar Rai, stated in his application to the Station House Officer that his son, Asaram Rai, frequently brought motorcycles home without his knowledge. When confronted, Asaram would verbally abuse family members. According to the application, on the night of November 1st, around 2 AM, Asaram arrived home with a bike. Villagers informed the father that the bike was stolen. Ranjit Kumar Rai then promptly called 112 to inform the police. The 112 police team arrived, investigated, and took both the bike and the accused son into custody.

The father also mentioned that Asaram had injured his leg in a bike accident on October 30th. He further revealed that Asaram had previously been jailed in a stolen bike case, recorded as Harlakhi Police Station Case No. 241/26. The father has requested legal action against his son. Case No. 480/26 has been registered at Harlakhi police station, with Sub-Inspector Chandan Kumar appointed as the investigating officer. Station House Officer Inspector Ranjit Kumar confirmed that the accused has been sent to judicial custody.
