Neura Police have arrested a young man with 17.7 grams of smack from Subhav Tola village. The arrest was made following a tip-off from an informant who provided specific details about the individual's involvement in the illegal drug trade. Upon receiving the intelligence, the Neura police team promptly launched an operation, setting up a surveillance and search mission in Subhav Tola.

During the operation, the suspect was apprehended, and a search revealed 17.7 grams of smack in his possession. The seized contraband is estimated to be worth several lakhs in the international market. Police officials stated that the arrested individual had been actively involved in drug peddling for a considerable period, contributing to drug addiction among the youth in the area. This bust is considered a significant success in the ongoing anti-drug campaign.

A case has been registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
