बिहार में सोशल मीडिया पर फेक अकाउंट बनाकर एक युवती को बदनाम करने के आरोप में पुलिस ने एक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह मामला तब सामने आया जब पीड़ित युवती ने पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई। युवती ने अपनी शिकायत में बताया कि एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर उसके नाम से फर्जी अकाउंट बनाकर आपत्तिजनक पोस्ट और तस्वीरें साझा कर रहा था। इन पोस्ट्स के कारण युवती को मानसिक प्रताड़ना का सामना करना पड़ रहा था और उसकी सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा को भी ठेस पहुँच रही थी।
पुलिस ने मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तत्काल कार्रवाई शुरू की। साइबर सेल की मदद से पुलिस ने फर्जी अकाउंट बनाने वाले व्यक्ति की पहचान की और उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया। गिरफ्तार युवक ने पूछताछ के दौरान अपना जुर्म कबूल कर लिया है। उसने बताया कि वह युवती को व्यक्तिगत रूप से जानता था और किसी पुराने विवाद के चलते उसे बदनाम करने की नीयत से यह हरकत कर रहा था।
पुलिस अधीक्षक ने इस घटना पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि साइबर अपराधों में लगातार वृद्धि हो रही है और ऐसे मामलों से निपटने के लिए पुलिस पूरी तरह से सतर्क है। उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की कि वे सोशल मीडिया का इस्तेमाल सावधानी से करें और किसी भी प्रकार की संदिग्ध गतिविधि या उत्पीड़न की सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को दें। पुलिस ने यह भी बताया कि गिरफ्तार युवक के खिलाफ आईटी एक्ट की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इस घटना ने एक बार फिर सोशल मीडिया के दुरुपयोग और उसके गंभीर परिणामों पर प्रकाश डाला है।
