A shocking incident has emerged from Rajgir, Nalanda district, where a young man allegedly dragged his girlfriend for about 100 meters with his motorcycle after refusing to marry her. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The incident reportedly occurred four to five days ago when the accused came to Rajgir to meet his girlfriend. When the young woman brought up the topic of marriage, the man backed out and started to leave. As the woman tried to stop him, he started his bike and dragged her for approximately 100 meters. During this, the woman continuously pleaded with him to let her go and stop the bike. After about 100 meters, the man lost his balance, and both fell on the road.

Following the incident, a crowd gathered. In the viral video, some people can be seen beating the accused. When questioned about his actions, the accused claimed that the woman was his wife and it was a 'domestic matter.'

Rajgir Station House Officer Abhijit Kumar stated that the incident is related to a marriage dispute. Police investigation revealed that the accused works as an Amin in Nardiganj, Nawada district. He had been consistently refusing to marry the woman, and they had met in Rajgir to discuss the matter.

According to the SHO, the victim (girlfriend) has taken legal action. She has filed a written complaint against her boyfriend at Nardiganj police station in Nawada district.
