A farewell-cum-felicitation ceremony was organized on Tuesday at the Manasi block headquarters in Khagaria district to mark the transfer of the Circle Officer (CO) and Jeevika Block Project Manager (BPM). Public representatives, officials, and local residents praised the tenure of both officers and bid them an emotional farewell.

Circle Officer Ravi Shankar Kumar has been transferred to Teghra circle in Begusarai district, while Jeevika BPM Ranjit Kumar has been transferred to Samastipur district. During the ceremony, speakers recalled CO Ravi Shankar Kumar's tenure, stating that he played a significant role in resolving land-related disputes and revenue collection in Manasi circle. His simple and amiable nature made it easier for common people to get their problems resolved.

Jeevika BPM Ranjit Kumar was also lauded for his social work and contributions to empowering Jeevika groups. Under his guidance, Jeevika groups took several important steps towards women's empowerment and self-reliance.

The event was attended by Block Chief Balbir Chand, Deputy Chief Naveen Kumar, Manasi Police Station Head Deepak Kumar, Jeevika Regional Coordinator Vikas Kumar, Block Agriculture Officer Rajesh Kumar, Block Welfare Officer Ranjit Kumar, former Mukhiya Krishna Mohan Prasad, JDU Block President Dinesh Chandra Prasad, Jeevika Community Coordinators Ajay Kumar and Ranjan Kumar, Junior Engineer Rajiv Kumar, and many other dignitaries. Everyone wished both officers a bright future and expressed gratitude for their work.
