A collision between a toto (auto-rickshaw) and a motorcycle occurred on Wednesday at Mathura Mor, located on the Katoriya-Simultala Road within the Anandpur police station area of Banka district. The accident resulted in serious injuries to two individuals: a woman traveling in the toto and a young man on the motorcycle.

The injured woman has been identified as Chanmuni Hansda, wife of Somlal Murmu, a resident of Ankura village in the Anandpur police station area. The motorcycle rider is Guddu Kumar, son of Devendra Das from Kasiyanma village. Both were immediately admitted to the Katoriya Community Health Center for treatment, where Dr. Vinod Kumar and Dr. Shailjanand Shukla provided first aid.

Chanmuni Hansda stated that she was on her way to Katoriya market by toto, and Guddu Kumar confirmed he was also heading to Katoriya market on his bike when the collision happened while turning at Mathura Mor. Local residents assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital. As both individuals are still undergoing treatment, no police complaint has been filed by either party regarding the incident so far.
