MLA Manish Kumar from Rajaun constituency in Banka district has penned a letter to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari. In his letter, he has urged for the construction of either a bypass or an overbridge to alleviate the pressure of the national highway on Rajaun market. The MLA stated that Rajaun market is one of the prominent commercial centers in Banka district. National Highway-333 passes directly through the heart of this market, leading to immense traffic congestion.

He highlighted that the market is constantly crowded, posing a significant risk of road accidents. Local traders and residents frequently face traffic jams and safety concerns. MLA Manish Kumar has appealed to Minister Gadkari to intervene personally in this matter and find a permanent solution in the public interest for Rajaun market. He suggested either constructing a bypass road around Rajaun market or building an overbridge over the market to facilitate smooth traffic flow and preserve the market's vibrancy. He believes that these measures will not only reduce road accidents but also boost local trade and provide relief to the general public.
