In a display of exemplary quick thinking and humanity, local MLA Lalan Kumar Paswan rescued two individuals critically injured in a road accident in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur district, on Tuesday night. The incident occurred on the Pirpainti-Ekchari main road when a speeding vehicle struck two pedestrians, leaving them severely wounded and in urgent need of medical attention.

Upon receiving news of the accident, MLA Paswan rushed to the scene. He immediately attempted to contact the Pirpainti police station to arrange for the victims' transportation to a hospital. However, despite multiple attempts, he was unable to establish contact with the police. Recognizing the critical condition of the injured and the urgency of the situation, the MLA, without hesitation, used his private vehicle to transport both victims to a local hospital. He personally ensured they received immediate first aid.

Doctors at the hospital reported that both victims are in serious condition and require further treatment. MLA Paswan assured the hospital administration of all possible support for their proper care.
