Serious allegations of irregularities have surfaced in two government schools in the Mohiuddinagar block of Samastipur district. These include the Rajkiya Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya, Hanuman Nagar, and the Rajkiya Kanya Prathmik Vidyalaya. Demands for investigation have been made in both cases, and Patari SDM Vikas Kumar Pandey has confirmed that the matters are under his cognizance and an investigation is underway.

At Rajkiya Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya, Hanuman Nagar, allegations of tampering with the student attendance register have emerged. Three teachers from the school – Meena Kumari, Sumit Suman, and Pushpa Maurya – have submitted a written application to the Block Education Officer, accusing the in-charge headmaster. The teachers claim that after returning from departmental training from July 20 to 24, when they requested their attendance registers, they were not provided. The registers later received were different from the previous ones, and they allege that a new register was prepared by altering the attendance recorded by the class teachers. They have demanded a reconciliation of all attendance registers from April to date.

Meanwhile, at Rajkiya Kanya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Headmistress Rekha Rani is accused of financial irregularities amounting to approximately 60,000 rupees. Six members, including the chairperson of the school education committee, Abha Rani, have filed a complaint against the headmistress and demanded an investigation.

Patari SDM Vikas Kumar Pandey stated that both matters are within his knowledge and are being seriously investigated. He assured that appropriate legal action would be taken based on the investigation report. The SDM also clarified that the government has a zero-tolerance policy towards financial irregularities in government schools and warned that strict action would be taken against the concerned headmaster and in-charge if any discrepancies are found in the mid-day meal scheme.
