Mokama's influential MLA Anant Singh's youngest daughter, Shivangi Singh, is currently in the news due to her upcoming wedding. Shivangi herself addressed questions regarding her education and independence on social media, stating that she has completed her Masters and is financially self-reliant.

Shivangi is set to marry Rishikesh Kumar, a native of Bihta, Patna, on November 25. Rishikesh is currently working in the United States and holds an MBA from Georgia State University. His family resides in Krishnanagar, Patna, and his father, Ranvijay Singh, is reportedly a CRPF Commandant. Rishikesh has been living and working in the US for approximately 11 years.

Unlike her father or brothers, Shivangi is not typically involved in public or political activities, which has intensified public curiosity following her wedding announcement. Her Instagram account, 'Shivangi Singh,' is followed by her family members.

Anant Singh and Neelam Devi have five children in total: two daughters and three sons. Their elder daughter, Rajnandani Singh, is married to Kumar Puneet from Pratapur, Lakhisarai, who is reported to be a central government officer. Twin sons Abhishek and Ankit Singh studied at Amity University, Noida, and are set to go to London for further studies in January 2025. A grand marquee spanning about 10 bighas is being constructed, with workers and materials brought in from Mau, Uttar Pradesh.
