प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, हादसा मंगलवार की दोपहर करीब 2 बजे हुआ। हाईवा (ट्रक) विपरीत दिशा से आ रही बाइक को टक्कर मारते हुए तेजी से आगे निकल गया। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि बाइक सवार सड़क पर गिरकर बुरी तरह जख्मी हो गया। उसके सिर और शरीर के अन्य हिस्सों में गंभीर चोटें आई हैं। घटनास्थल पर मौजूद लोगों ने बताया कि टक्कर के बाद हाईवा चालक ने भागने की कोशिश की, लेकिन भीड़ इकट्ठा होते देख वह गाड़ी छोड़कर फरार हो गया।
सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घायल युवक की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया। हालांकि, खबर लिखे जाने तक उसकी पहचान नहीं हो पाई थी। पुलिस ने दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हाईवा को जब्त कर लिया है और फरार चालक की तलाश में जुट गई है। पुलिस ने आसपास के सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगालने की बात भी कही है, ताकि चालक की पहचान कर उसे गिरफ्तार किया जा सके। इस घटना के बाद गंगटा मोड़ पर कुछ देर के लिए यातायात बाधित रहा, जिसे पुलिस ने सामान्य कराया। स्थानीय लोगों ने इस मार्ग पर तेज रफ्तार वाहनों पर नियंत्रण लगाने की मांग की है, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसे हादसों को रोका जा सके।

Local police arrived at the scene, seized the highwa, and initiated a search for the absconding driver. The identity of the injured youth was not immediately known. Police are also examining CCTV footage from the area to identify and apprehend the driver. The accident caused a temporary traffic disruption at Gangta Mor, which was later cleared by the police.
