Member of Parliament Dileshwar Kamait chaired a crucial meeting of the District Electricity Committee to review various power-related schemes. The primary objective of the meeting was to ensure the quality and timely implementation of ongoing electricity projects in the district. MP Kamait instructed officials to complete all schemes within the stipulated timeframe and with high quality, ensuring that the general public benefits from uninterrupted power supply.

During the meeting, the MP sought detailed information on the progress of projects such as rural electrification, laying of new power lines, installation of transformers, and replacement of old, dilapidated wires. He specifically emphasized focusing on areas with more significant power issues and where adequate supply is still lacking. He reiterated that electricity is a fundamental necessity for every household, and ensuring it is a government priority.

MP Kamait also warned officials that any negligence or compromise on quality in the implementation of schemes would not be tolerated. He clarified the importance of maintaining transparency in projects and encouraging public participation. He also appealed to local public representatives and citizens to immediately bring any electricity-related problems or complaints to the attention of the concerned authorities.

Several senior officials from the electricity department, executive engineers, and other relevant staff were present at the meeting. All officials assured the MP that they would follow his instructions and make every possible effort to strengthen the electricity system in the district.
