Preparations are in full swing at the historic Garibnath Dham temple in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, ahead of the auspicious Sawan month. With millions of devotees expected, the district administration and temple management are working diligently to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for all. Special arrangements are being made for Kanwariyas and other pilgrims.

This year, two grand tent cities will be erected to provide temporary accommodation and essential facilities for devotees. These tent cities will offer clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, medical aid, and robust security measures. The administration aims to minimize inconvenience for pilgrims, allowing them to offer prayers to Baba Garibnath peacefully. Emphasis is also being placed on maintaining cleanliness within and around the temple premises. Road repairs and lighting improvements are underway. Additional police forces will be deployed for crowd management, supplemented by volunteers. Safety and facilities along the Kanwar pilgrimage routes are also being inspected. The District Magistrate has instructed all concerned departments to expedite preparations and complete arrangements on time, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply, emergency medical services, and overall cleanliness.
