On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, the Durga Puja Visarjan procession in Narhan village, Raghunathpur block, Siwan district, was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. A large crowd of devotees and spectators gathered in Raghunathpur market to witness the grand procession. The entire area was filled with devotion, featuring elaborate decorations, elephants, horses, musical bands, and chants of 'Jai Mata Di'.

The main attraction of the procession was the nearly 100 tableaux, which vividly depicted religious, social, political, and contemporary themes. Following tradition, the immersion procession commenced from the Durga Puja pandal in Narhan village. It passed through Harpur, Nawada, and Raghunathpur Bazaar before reaching Rajpur Mor.

Committee members led the procession with elephants, horses, and musical instruments, chanting slogans in praise of Maa Bhagwati. Behind them followed the idol of Maa Durga, accompanied by a long line of tableaux. Devotees welcomed the procession at various points along the route.

The tableaux beautifully portrayed episodes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, various religious stories, social issues, political developments, and national events. Additionally, humorous performances and short plays provided ample entertainment for the spectators.
