Nawada police have made a significant seizure in their ongoing crackdown against liquor smugglers, confiscating 137 liters of illicit alcohol. The liquor was recovered from a Bolero vehicle specially modified with a secret compartment for smuggling.

Acting on a tip-off about a large consignment of illegal liquor being transported towards Nawada, the Nagar police station initiated a vehicle inspection drive. During the checking, a suspicious Bolero was stopped. Upon thorough inspection, officers discovered a cleverly concealed secret compartment within the vehicle. Inside this compartment, they found 95 cans, each containing 500 ml of illicit liquor, totaling 137 liters.

Police also apprehended one liquor smuggler at the scene. Interrogation of the arrested individual is underway to uncover the full network involved in this illegal trade. The Superintendent of Police stated that continuous campaigns are being conducted to strictly enforce prohibition in the district, and stringent action will be taken against liquor smugglers. The public has also been urged to report any such illegal activities to the police to eradicate this menace from society. This operation has sent a strong message to liquor smugglers about the administration's vigilance.
