A meeting was held on Wednesday at a private hotel in Muzaffarpur to support NDA candidates for the Tirhut Graduate and Teacher constituencies. The gathering saw the presence of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai, Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari, Muzaffarpur MP Rajbhushan Nishad, and several other prominent NDA leaders. Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari urged teacher voters to elect both NDA candidates to the assembly, emphasizing that this would help the government address teachers' issues effectively.

He assured teachers that their problems concerning transfers, postings, salary discrepancies, and other grievances would be resolved, stating that the government is implementing several reforms in this regard. Tiwari mentioned the recent online transfer of 21-22 thousand teachers, asserting that no money was demanded during this process. He also informed that a list for the transfer of approximately 73,000 teachers is ready but could not be released due to the election code of conduct. The minister promised that within the next three months, an online system would be launched, allowing teachers to apply for leave, address salary discrepancies, or submit other applications directly from their schools via mobile phones. This system would aim to resolve applications online within 48 hours.

Furthermore, the Education Minister sought votes for the NDA in connection with the 7th Pay Commission, stating that strengthening the NDA government is crucial to fulfill teachers' demands. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai also appealed to graduate and teacher voters to support Abhishek Jha and Narendra Singh. The event was organized by City MLA Ranjan Kumar.
