Amidst nationwide outrage over the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leak case, students in Araria district, Bihar, also staged a strong protest. On Wednesday, dozens of students gathered at Chandni Chowk in the city and raised slogans against the central government. The protesting students demanded the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Students stated that the NEET paper leak is a betrayal of the future of millions of students in the country. They alleged that the government's negligence and incompetence are clearly visible in this entire matter. One protesting student said, "We work hard day and night to prepare for the exam, and when the exam happens, the paper leaks. This breaks our morale and makes the future seem bleak." He further added that their movement would continue until the culprits are severely punished and the Education Minister resigns.

During the protest, students raised slogans like 'Education Minister resign', 'Cancel NEET exam', and 'Arrest the culprits'. They also carried placards with messages protesting the irregularities in the NEET exam. Students demanded a thorough and impartial investigation into the entire matter to identify the real culprits. They also stated that concrete steps should be taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.

This protest by students in Araria is part of the broader questions and protests being raised across the country regarding the NEET examination. Students and parents are extremely angry about why such an important examination is repeatedly marred by irregularities. They are demanding transparency and accountability from the government to secure the future of students.
