The nationwide wave of protests against the NEET examination paper leak incident has now reached Banka city. On Friday evening, hundreds of students and youths took to the streets, carrying the national flag, to stage a strong protest march. Led by former student union presidents Shantanu Raut and Rishabh Mishra, the march began peacefully from RMK High School ground and culminated at Gandhi Chowk.

Throughout the march, slogans such as 'Modi, your dictatorship will not work' and 'Dharmendra Pradhan, resign' resonated across the city. Protestors held tricolour flags along with various placards and banners, displaying messages advocating for transparency in the examination system, prevention of paper leak incidents, and protection of students' futures.

Students participating in the demonstration expressed that the NEET paper leak has caused deep anger and despair among millions of hardworking students across the country. They highlighted that students prepare for competitive exams with immense dedication, but such irregularities jeopardize their future. The students demanded an impartial investigation into the entire matter and strict action against those found guilty, along with reforms in the examination system to prevent similar incidents in the future.
