The nationwide protest against the NEET paper leak incident has reached Banka city. On Friday evening, around 6 PM, hundreds of students and youths took out a protest march carrying the tricolor flag. Led by former student union presidents Shantanu Rawat and Rishabh Mishra, the march started from RMK High School ground and proceeded to Gandhi Chowk.

The protesters raised strong slogans against the central government, including 'Modi Teri Tanashahi Nahi Chalegi' (Modi, your dictatorship will not work) and 'Dharmendra Pradhan Istifa Do' (Dharmendra Pradhan, resign). Along with the national flags, students carried placards and banners with messages demanding transparency in the examination system, strict action in paper leak cases, and protection of students' futures.

Students expressed that the paper leak in a crucial examination like NEET has created an atmosphere of distrust and despair among millions of hardworking students. They alleged that any irregularity in the examination jeopardizes their future. Protesters demanded a completely transparent examination system, an impartial investigation into the paper leak, and strict action against the culprits. They also called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, citing moral responsibility.

During the protest march, elaborate security arrangements were made by the police administration. SDM Rajkumar, SDPO Amar Vishwas, and Town Police Station SHO Sudhir Kumar, along with a large number of police personnel, were present. The entire program concluded peacefully under the supervision of the administration. SDM Rajkumar stated that a peaceful procession regarding the NEET paper leak case was also taken out in Banka city, and the administration remained vigilant.
