A shocking incident has emerged from Supaul district, Bihar, where a 49-year-old Nepali citizen was allegedly drugged and robbed. Following the incident, he was found adrift in the Kosi River and was rescued by local fishermen. The event occurred on Wednesday in the Kosi River stream within Pipra Khurd Panchayat of Supaul district.

The victim has been identified as Ramnarayan Yadav, a resident of Harinagara village in Sunsari district, Nepal. He had traveled to Bihar with a laptop and other belongings. On Wednesday morning, fishermen, while out fishing in the Kosi River, spotted Ramnarayan Yadav being carried away by the strong current. The alert fishermen promptly pulled him to safety.

Upon regaining consciousness, Ramnarayan Yadav stated that unknown assailants had drugged him and robbed him of his laptop, mobile phone, and other valuables. After the robbery, the criminals likely threw him into the river. With the help of locals and fishermen, he was immediately taken to a nearby primary health center for treatment. His condition is now reported to be stable.
