Shri Prakash Kumar has officially assumed charge as the new Circle Officer (CO) of Kahra Circle in Saharsa district. Following his appointment, Kumar convened his first review meeting, primarily focusing on the swift resolution of pending land dispute cases. He issued clear directives for the expeditious disposal of all land-related disputes awaiting resolution at the circle office, aiming to alleviate unnecessary hardships for the public.

During the meeting, all revenue staff and officers of the circle office were strictly instructed to seriously address land disputes in their respective areas and demonstrate promptness in resolving them. Kumar emphasized that land disputes often lead to significant social tension and law and order issues, making timely resolution crucial. He specifically directed for greater transparency and speed in mutation (Dakhil-Kharij) and land revenue related matters.

Shri Prakash Kumar stated that his priority would be to make the circle office people-centric, ensuring that citizens do not have to wander for solutions to their problems. He instructed staff to treat petitioners courteously and listen carefully to their grievances. He also stressed the importance of ensuring that government scheme benefits reach eligible individuals and warned that any irregularities would not be tolerated. He urged all employees to work with honesty and dedication.
