In Nokha, the NSUI (National Students' Union of India) staged a strong protest on Thursday at the gate of Mangilal Bagdi Government PG College, demanding the restoration of student union elections. Led by NSUI District President Shrikrishna Godara, activists burned tires and chanted slogans against the government, expressing their discontent. During the protest, they also submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister to the SDM.

The protesting students alleged that postponing student union elections is a violation of the democratic system and deprives youth of the opportunity to develop leadership skills. They emphasized that student union elections are the foundation of a democratic setup and a powerful medium for students to voice their concerns. The NSUI urged the government to respect students' sentiments and restore student union elections as soon as possible.

NSUI District President Shrikrishna Godara warned that if the student union elections are not announced soon, the NSUI would intensify its agitation across the state. Hundreds of NSUI workers, including former student union presidents Dinesh Saran, Kishan Saran, Jitendra Kaswan, Manoj Godara, Ramjas Kaswan, Subhash Godara, Sonu Joshi, Kailash Punia, Rahil Qureshi, Aman Giri, Pankaj Bhargava, Devkishan Saran, OP Bhambhu, and Bajrang, participated in the demonstration. Several youth leaders, including Congress District General Secretary Murli Godara, Kailash Puniyan, Surendra Godara, and Om Chaudhary, were also present during the submission of the memorandum.
