देवघर में शुरू होने वाले श्रावणी मेले की तैयारियों को लेकर प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों ने एक उच्चस्तरीय बैठक की। इस बैठक में सड़क, बिजली और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था सहित विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं की गहन समीक्षा की गई। अधिकारियों ने यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए विस्तृत चर्चा की कि मेले में आने वाले लाखों श्रद्धालुओं को किसी भी प्रकार की असुविधा का सामना न करना पड़े।
सड़क व्यवस्था को लेकर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। संबंधित विभागों को निर्देश दिए गए कि कांवड़िया पथ और अन्य प्रमुख मार्गों की मरम्मत जल्द से जल्द पूरी की जाए। सड़कों पर गड्ढों को भरने और साफ-सफाई सुनिश्चित करने पर जोर दिया गया, ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को सुगम आवागमन मिल सके। साथ ही, यातायात प्रबंधन को लेकर भी रणनीति बनाई गई, जिसमें भीड़भाड़ वाले क्षेत्रों में विशेष ट्रैफिक पुलिस की तैनाती और वैकल्पिक मार्गों का उपयोग शामिल है।
बिजली आपूर्ति को लेकर भी व्यापक समीक्षा की गई। मेले के दौरान निर्बाध विद्युत आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पावर सब-स्टेशनों की क्षमता बढ़ाने और अतिरिक्त ट्रांसफार्मर लगाने के निर्देश दिए गए। यह भी कहा गया कि आपातकालीन स्थिति से निपटने के लिए जनरेटर और अन्य वैकल्पिक ऊर्जा स्रोतों की व्यवस्था की जाए। लाइटिंग की व्यवस्था पर भी जोर दिया गया, विशेषकर रात के समय श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा के लिए।
सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मेले का एक और महत्वपूर्ण पहलू थी। अधिकारियों ने अपराध नियंत्रण और भीड़ प्रबंधन को लेकर विस्तृत योजना बनाई। अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल की तैनाती, सीसीटीवी कैमरों की निगरानी और सादे कपड़ों में पुलिसकर्मियों की गश्त बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया गया। महिला श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा के लिए विशेष उपाय करने और आपातकालीन हेल्पलाइन नंबरों को सक्रिय रखने के निर्देश भी दिए गए।
इसके अतिरिक्त, पेयजल, स्वच्छता, चिकित्सा सुविधा और आपदा प्रबंधन जैसी अन्य आवश्यक सेवाओं की तैयारियों का भी जायजा लिया गया। सभी संबंधित विभागों को समयबद्ध तरीके से अपनी-अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को पूरा करने और आपसी समन्वय बनाए रखने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया। अधिकारियों ने उम्मीद जताई कि इन तैयारियों के माध्यम से इस वर्ष का श्रावणी मेला सफलतापूर्वक और शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न होगा, जिससे श्रद्धालुओं को एक सुखद अनुभव प्राप्त होगा।

Key aspects such as road infrastructure, electricity supply, and security arrangements were thoroughly discussed to ensure a smooth experience for the millions of devotees expected to attend.
Special emphasis was placed on road conditions, with directives issued to relevant departments for the swift repair of the Kanwariya Path and other major routes. Efforts will focus on filling potholes and maintaining cleanliness to facilitate easy movement for pilgrims. Traffic management strategies, including the deployment of special traffic police and the use of alternative routes in congested areas, were also planned.
The review of electricity supply included instructions to enhance the capacity of power sub-stations and install additional transformers to ensure uninterrupted power during the fair. Provisions for generators and alternative energy sources were also mandated for emergencies. Lighting arrangements, especially for nighttime safety, were highlighted.
Security was a critical agenda item, with plans formulated for crime control and crowd management. This involves deploying additional police forces, monitoring through CCTV cameras, and increasing plainclothes police patrols. Specific measures for the safety of female devotees and active emergency helplines were also directed. Other essential services like drinking water, sanitation, medical facilities, and disaster management were also assessed, with departments urged to complete their tasks promptly and maintain coordination for a successful and peaceful Mela.
