A young man died tragically due to electrocution on Wednesday morning in Jehanabad district. The incident occurred in Golakpur Saidabad village, under the jurisdiction of Pali Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Kumar, who worked as an operator in Karko Nagar Panchayat.

According to reports, Ranjit had gone for a walk in the fields of his village on Wednesday morning. During his walk, he accidentally came into contact with an 11,000-volt electric wire. The shock was so severe that he died on the spot. Villagers immediately informed Ranjit's family about the incident.

Ranjit's brother, Bittu Kumar, stated that family members rushed to the scene but by then, Ranjit had already passed away. Subsequently, the Pali Police Station was informed. Police arrived at the site, took custody of the body, and sent it to Sadar Hospital, Jehanabad, for post-mortem examination. The police are currently investigating the matter. The incident has cast a pall of grief over the village and the family.
