A serious allegation of rape at gunpoint has emerged from Saran district, Bihar, involving an orchestra dancer. The incident reportedly occurred early Saturday morning on the Mashrak-Taraiya main road when the dancer was returning on a scooter after performing at a birthday celebration. It is alleged that the scooter driver stopped her at a secluded spot, threatened her with a weapon, and then sexually assaulted her. After the incident, the accused abandoned the victim on the road and fled.

Following the ordeal, the traumatized victim informed her colleagues, who then contacted the orchestra manager. The manager admitted the victim to Amanour Community Health Center for treatment and medical examination and reported the incident to Amanour Police Station. Amanour police recorded the victim's statement at the hospital. Preliminary investigation revealed that the crime scene falls under the jurisdiction of Taraiya Police Station. Consequently, Amanour police transferred the case details to Taraiya police.

Currently, Taraiya police are actively investigating the matter. Raids are being conducted at potential hideouts to identify and apprehend the accused. Police officials stated that the full details of the incident would become clear only after the investigation and medical reports are complete. Authorities have assured that further legal action will be taken based on the investigation, and the accused will be arrested soon.
