A massive fire broke out late Monday night at a chimney office located near Rally English Mazar in the Pandarak police station area of Patna district. Goods worth lakhs of rupees kept in the office were completely destroyed in the inferno. The fire was so intense that it quickly engulfed the entire office.

According to local residents, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but a short circuit is suspected. By the time people could react and attempt to douse the flames, they had already taken a fierce form. Furniture, documents, computers, and other important equipment present in the office were completely gutted.

Fire services were immediately informed, and fire tenders arrived at the scene. After several hours of effort, the fire was brought under control. However, by then, the office had suffered extensive damage. The chimney owner is estimated to have incurred losses worth millions due to this fire.

Police officials also visited the site and have initiated an investigation into the matter to determine the actual cause of the fire. The incident caused a stir in the area, with locals gathering at the spot for a long time. This event once again raises questions about the lack of safety measures and preparedness to handle fire incidents.
