Madhepur, Madhubani. A farewell ceremony was organized on Saturday at Parsauni Primary School, located in Dwakhal Panchayat of Madhepur block, for Headmaster Chandeshwari Prasad Yadav on his retirement. The event saw the presence of the school family, local public representatives, and guardians.

The ceremony commenced with flag hoisting in the school premises, where the retiring Headmaster Chandeshwari Prasad Yadav, the current acting Headmaster, and all teachers jointly unfurled the tricolor. Following this, during the farewell, teachers honored Mr. Yadav by presenting him with a 'pag' (turban), dupatta, and 'angavastra' (shawl).

Chandeshwari Prasad Yadav served Parsauni Primary School for a continuous period of 20 years. During his tenure, he made significant contributions to both educating children and developing the school. Teachers and villagers praised his discipline, dedication, and simple nature. Speakers addressing the ceremony described Mr. Yadav's tenure as inspiring. They noted that providing uninterrupted service for 20 years in a challenging region like Kosi Diara was not easy, yet he successfully kept the flame of education burning.

Several villagers and teachers, including Panchayat Samiti member Lalita Devi, were present on the occasion. The program was presided over by the school's senior teacher Shivnath Thakur, with Amarnath Jha serving as the stage anchor. At the end of the event, the current acting Headmaster, Vidyanand Yadav, delivered a vote of thanks, stating that Mr. Yadav's guidance would continue to be utilized for the school's progress. Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, as per the instructions of the education department, the new charge of the school was handed over to Vidyanand Yadav. Attendees expressed confidence that under his leadership, the school would continue on the path of progress.
