Pashupati Prasad Singh, a resident of Cheria Bariarpur, passed away at his ancestral home in Begusarai at the age of over 90. He had a long career at the Munger NCC office and was known for his religious devotion and simple nature. The news of his demise has cast a pall of grief across Begusarai city and Cheria Bariarpur.

Many expressed that society has lost a good social individual. Brajesh Kumar Prince, President of Begusarai Nagar Congress and former councilor, stated that Pashupati Prasad Singh was his uncle, and his passing is an irreparable loss to both the family and society. He was also actively involved with the village's Ramayana Gosthi Committee. His last rites were performed at the Ganga ghat in Simaria.
