The Paswan community in Rahika, Madhubani district, observed the traditional worship of Raja Salhesh at the Raja Salhesh Gahwar Sthan on Friday. This religious custom, passed down through generations, is celebrated annually with great devotion and enthusiasm by the community.

The Gahwar Sthan was beautifully adorned for the puja, and devotees began gathering early in the morning. Community members performed the rituals for Raja Salhesh, praying for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of their families and society. A large number of devotees visited the site, offering prayers and प्रसाद (offerings) in adherence to ancestral traditions.

Women, men, and children from the Paswan community showed immense enthusiasm during the event. A devotional atmosphere prevailed at the worship site throughout the day, with many families participating in the puja. Community members emphasized that the worship of Raja Salhesh is not merely a religious event but also a significant occasion for fostering social unity and connecting with their heritage. Messages of brotherhood and social harmony were shared during the celebrations. Young people and local residents played an active role in organizing the event, ensuring necessary arrangements for the devotees. The flow of devotees continued at the Gahwar Sthan until late evening.
