Four people were injured in a firing incident over a land dispute in Hiranandpur village, under the Didarganj police station area in Fatuha, Patna district, on Saturday. Two of the injured sustained bullet wounds, while the other two were hit by shrapnel. All victims have been admitted to Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH) for treatment.

Suraj Kumar, nephew of one of the injured, Bhola Kumar, released a video on social media alleging that a long-standing land dispute with Ranjit Kumar led to the incident. Suraj claimed that at the time of the incident, Ranjit's private guard was intimidating them with a rifle. Subsequently, Ranjit Kumar allegedly took the rifle from his guard and began firing. Bhola Kumar, from the victim's side, stated that they were near their home when the opposing party suddenly attacked.

The Didarganj police station in-charge confirmed that a police team was dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving news of the firing. Authorities are investigating whether the weapon used in the shooting was licensed or illegal. Police raids are underway to apprehend the accused.
