A tragic road accident in Patna has turned the joy of a wedding into deep mourning. Late Tuesday night, two close friends returning from a wedding procession died in a horrific road crash. The incident occurred on Shivala Road under the Rupaspur police station area when their motorcycle lost control and collided with an electricity pole. Both friends succumbed to their injuries on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Ravi Kumar and 20-year-old Vicky Kumar, both residents of the Rupaspur police station area. The two friends lived in the same village and were very close. According to information, they had attended a relative's wedding procession and were returning home late at night. Upon reaching Shivala Road, their speeding motorcycle suddenly went out of control and crashed directly into an electricity pole. The impact was so severe that both were critically injured and died instantly.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a crowd of locals gathered, and the police were informed. Rupaspur police station personnel immediately arrived at the scene, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination to PMCH Hospital in Patna. Police stated that prima facie, it appears to be a case of speeding and negligent driving. The condition of the motorcycle suggests the severity of the collision.
