On the occasion of Peer Nunua Shah's Urs, a large number of devotees offered 'chadar' (a ceremonial cloth) at his shrine in Bihpur, praying for peace and harmony. Following the chadarposhi, 'Fatiha' prayers were recited. It is widely believed that prayers offered with a true heart at this shrine are granted, and no devotee returns empty-handed, as stated by caretaker Subodh Paswan.

For the Urs, the shrine complex was beautifully adorned with colorful lights, enhancing the spiritual ambiance. Some devotees arrived with musical instruments, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event.

The Urs is organized under the coordination of Maya Devi, president of the women's cell of the Freedom Fighter Descendants Organization. Peer Nunua Shah's shrine is a significant symbol of communal harmony, where both Hindu and Muslim communities jointly offer chadars and express their devotion. Manoj Rai, Mantoo Rai, Sachidanand, Nityanand, Anil, Rajesh, and Kailash Paswan, among others, contributed to the success of the program. This event highlights the syncretic culture of Bihpur.
