Following the victory of Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor in the Bankipur assembly by-election, Jan Suraj workers celebrated enthusiastically on Monday evening at Shermari Chowk in Pirpainti block, Bhagalpur. The celebration saw workers playing drums, applying gulal to each other, and distributing sweets.

Addressing the gathering, Ghanshyam Das, former candidate for Pirpainti assembly, stated that the people of Bankipur have supported the politics of change. He termed this victory a triumph of Jan Suraj's ideology and public trust. Das emphasized that the people of Bihar now desire politics focused on fundamental issues such as development, education, health, and employment, and Jan Suraj is moving forward with this commitment.

Sushil Thakur, Jan Suraj Block President, attributed the victory to the tireless efforts of the workers and immense public support. He stated that the party would strengthen its organization and propagate its policies among the masses in the coming times. Party spokesperson Mohd. Sonu said that Bankipur voters have clearly demonstrated the growing demand for positive and alternative politics in Bihar. He assured that Jan Suraj would continue to work in line with public aspirations.

Jan Suraj leader Suman Mishra described this victory as the fruit of every worker's dedication and struggle. He expressed confidence that the party would contest future elections strongly with the same enthusiasm and public support. A large number of party workers and supporters, including Rauf Khan, Mohd. Matin, Satyam Kumar, and Suman Kumar, participated in the celebration, congratulating each other and wishing for a better future for Jan Suraj in Bihar.
