Purnia District Magistrate Anshul Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of government offices and the 'Sahyog Setu' camp in Dhamdaha block. During his visit, he reviewed the functioning of various departments and issued several important directives.

At the RTPS (Right to Public Services) office, the DM strictly instructed employees to resolve all pending and new applications within the stipulated time. He also inspected the painting work of the office. The supervisor of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) was directed to remove the names of ineligible beneficiaries through Gram Sabha and to expedite the inclusion of eligible beneficiaries.

During the inspection of the basic center, the in-charge was found absent, which the District Magistrate viewed with serious displeasure and sought an explanation. He also expressed concern over the presence of only one patient at the center. Guards were instructed to remain in uniform.

While reviewing the 'Sahyog Setu' camp, officials were instructed to ensure maximum public participation so that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person. Sub-Divisional Officer Anupam Kumar was asked to investigate the necessity of the drain being constructed near the block premises. Other officials were also present during the inspection.
