Drivers faced considerable delays in reaching their destinations, while pedestrians and smaller vehicle operators were also caught in the gridlock.

The primary reasons for the jam are attributed to the uncontrolled accumulation of vehicles and encroachment on the road. According to locals, traffic jams are a recurring issue on this route, especially on market days and during peak morning and evening hours. Illegally parked vehicles along the roadside and widespread encroachment on footpaths further exacerbate the traffic situation.
