Shahpur, Bhojpur. Former MLA Rahul Tiwari has raised concerns regarding the recurring floodwaters in Bilauti village and the plight of families displaced from Jawainiya village in Shahpur block. He criticized the current Shahpur MLA, stating that promises were made to these displaced families for a permanent solution to their problems, but no concrete action has been taken so far.

Tiwari highlighted that the displaced families from Jawainiya, currently residing in Bilauti, are continuously facing difficulties due to flooding and other issues. He emphasized that elected representatives should take the problems of affected families seriously and be accountable to them. Rahul Tiwari assured that once the water levels recede, he would personally engage with the district administration and relevant department officials to find a resolution. He also appealed to the sitting MLA to address the distress of these families and take appropriate measures. This issue has become a point of political contention in the region, with local residents' hopes hanging between the promises made by leaders and their actual implementation.
