बिहार के कई जिलों में भारी बारिश से जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है, और इसका असर स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं पर भी पड़ा है। ताजा मामला एक सदर अस्पताल का है जहाँ बारिश का पानी अस्पताल परिसर में भर गया, जिससे मरीजों और कर्मचारियों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, लगातार हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण अस्पताल की सीढ़ियों से पानी बहते हुए सीधे ओपीडी (आउट पेशेंट डिपार्टमेंट) और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण विभागों तक पहुंच गया।
पानी भरने के कारण अस्पताल में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया। ओपीडी सेवाएं पूरी तरह से बाधित हो गईं, जिससे मरीजों को इलाज के लिए घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ा या बिना इलाज के ही लौटना पड़ा। दवा वितरण काउंटर और रजिस्ट्रेशन काउंटर पर भी पानी भर जाने से वे बंद हो गए। इसका सीधा असर उन गरीब और जरूरतमंद मरीजों पर पड़ा जो दूर-दराज के इलाकों से इलाज के लिए अस्पताल आए थे। उन्हें न तो दवा मिल पा रही थी और न ही वे अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन करा पा रहे थे।
अस्पताल परिसर में पानी इतना भर गया था कि कर्मचारियों और मरीजों को खड़े होने तक की जगह नहीं मिल पा रही थी। घुटनों तक भरे पानी में चलकर आना-जाना मुश्किल हो गया था। इस स्थिति ने अस्पताल की कुप्रबंधन और जल निकासी व्यवस्था की पोल खोल दी है। अक्सर देखा जाता है कि हल्की बारिश में भी सरकारी अस्पतालों में पानी भर जाता है, जिससे मरीजों को बुनियादी सुविधाएं भी नहीं मिल पातीं।
स्थानीय लोगों और मरीजों ने इस स्थिति पर गहरी नाराजगी व्यक्त की है। उनका कहना है कि हर साल बारिश के मौसम में ऐसी ही स्थिति पैदा होती है, लेकिन प्रशासन इस ओर कोई ध्यान नहीं देता। उन्होंने मांग की है कि अस्पताल में जल निकासी की उचित व्यवस्था की जाए ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी समस्याओं से बचा जा सके और मरीजों को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं मिल सकें। इस घटना ने एक बार फिर बिहार में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की दयनीय स्थिति को उजागर किया है।

Local residents and patients have expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating that such conditions arise every monsoon, yet the administration fails to address them. They demand proper drainage systems in the hospital to prevent future occurrences and ensure better healthcare services. This incident once again exposes the deplorable state of health infrastructure in Bihar.
