The 8-seater ropeway operated by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation in Rajgir, a renowned tourist destination in Nalanda district, will remain closed for the entire day on October 13. This decision has been taken due to essential maintenance work. During this period, tourists and devotees will not be able to avail the ropeway facility. The ropeway management has taken this step prioritizing passenger safety.

On Monday, ropeway manager Deepak Kumar stated that regular technical inspections are conducted to ensure passenger safety and provide better facilities. In line with this, on October 13, detailed technical inspections, repairs, and necessary improvements will be carried out on the ropeway. All machines, equipment, and systems related to the ropeway will be thoroughly checked to proactively address any potential technical issues.

The ropeway is a major attraction for visitors to Rajgir, with a large number of people using it daily. The manager has specifically appealed to tourists to keep this closure information in mind before planning their visit to Rajgir on October 13, to avoid any inconvenience.
