A Janata Darbar (public court) was organized at the Ramgarh Chowk Circle Office in Saharsa district on Saturday. The primary focus of this Janata Darbar was the resolution of land-related disputes. Under the leadership of the Circle Officer, a total of five land dispute cases were heard. Out of these, one case was successfully resolved through mutual agreement and conciliation.

The main objective of the Janata Darbar is to provide a platform for people to address their land-related issues directly with administrative officials, register their complaints, and receive prompt solutions. During the event, the Circle Officer patiently listened to the grievances of all petitioners and issued necessary instructions to the concerned staff present at the spot.

Officials stated that the Janata Darbar not only resolves land disputes but also helps strengthen trust between the administration and the public. They appealed to people to bring their land disputes to the Janata Darbar before resorting to court, thereby saving both time and money. This initiative has been met with considerable satisfaction from the local populace, who believe that such events enhance administrative accountability and facilitate access to justice for the common people. Plans are in place to regularly organize such Janata Darbars in the future to resolve more land disputes at the local level.
