बांका जिले के रजौन में राष्ट्र सेविका समिति की संस्थापिका वंदनीया लक्ष्मीबाई केलकर की जयंती श्रद्धापूर्वक मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर समिति की कार्यकर्ताओं ने लक्ष्मीबाई केलकर के जीवन और उनके राष्ट्र निर्माण में दिए गए योगदान को याद किया। उन्होंने बताया कि लक्ष्मीबाई केलकर ने महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने और उनमें राष्ट्रभक्ति की भावना जागृत करने के उद्देश्य से राष्ट्र सेविका समिति की स्थापना की थी। उनके आदर्शों और सिद्धांतों को आज भी समिति की महिलाएं आत्मसात कर रही हैं।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान, समिति की जिला कार्यवाहिका ने लक्ष्मीबाई केलकर के त्याग और समर्पण पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि केलकर जी ने अपना पूरा जीवन देश और समाज की सेवा में समर्पित कर दिया। उनका मानना था कि एक सशक्त राष्ट्र के निर्माण के लिए महिलाओं का शिक्षित और संस्कारवान होना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। इसी सोच के साथ उन्होंने महिलाओं को संगठित करने का बीड़ा उठाया और उन्हें सामाजिक कार्यों में सक्रिय भागीदारी के लिए प्रेरित किया।
इस अवसर पर यह भी घोषणा की गई कि रजौन में अगले रविवार से राष्ट्र सेविका समिति की साप्ताहिक शाखा का शुभारंभ किया जाएगा। इस शाखा के माध्यम से महिलाओं को विभिन्न प्रकार के कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण, नैतिक शिक्षा और शारीरिक व्यायाम के अवसर प्रदान किए जाएंगे। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं को आत्मविश्वासी, आत्मनिर्भर और समाज के प्रति जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनाना है। समिति की कार्यकर्ताओं ने रजौन की सभी महिलाओं से इस साप्ताहिक शाखा में शामिल होकर लक्ष्मीबाई केलकर के सपनों को साकार करने में सहयोग करने का आह्वान किया। इस पहल से स्थानीय महिलाओं में उत्साह का माहौल है और वे इस नई शुरुआत का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रही हैं।
