The power supply in the Righa region of Sitamarhi district has been disrupted once again. As of Tuesday afternoon, more than five hours after the outage began at 12 PM, power supply to the Righa feeder has not been restored. This has caused significant inconvenience to both rural and urban consumers in the area. According to local residents, there is no clear information on when the power supply will be restored. The disruption is attributed to a fault in the 33 KV line affecting the Righa feeder. Consumers have been told that power might return by night, but if the situation does not normalize, they might have to wait up to 24 hours.

This continuous power cut has affected daily household chores, students' studies, shopkeepers' businesses, and essential services like water supply. The problems are particularly acute in rural areas. Local residents have expressed serious concern over the frequent power disruptions in the Righa feeder, questioning when the power system will be permanently fixed.
