A clothing shop in Rosera market, Samastipur district, was burglarized and subsequently set on fire, resulting in an estimated loss of ₹50,000 for the owner. The incident, which occurred at a shop near Gandhi Chowk in Rosera market, involved thieves first stealing goods and then setting the establishment ablaze, likely to destroy evidence.

According to the shop owner, on Sunday night, burglars broke the lock and entered the store. They stole cash and some apparel. After committing the theft, the culprits ignited a fire, which consumed the remaining merchandise and furniture inside the shop. The owner discovered the incident on Monday morning when they arrived to open the shop, finding the shutter open and smoke emanating from within. Upon inspection, it was evident that a fire had occurred, destroying a significant portion of the shop's contents.

Local police were promptly informed and initiated an investigation. Footprints believed to belong to the thieves were found inside the shop, which the police are using to identify the culprits. The shop owner has filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the local police station. The police have assured the owner of swift action to apprehend the thieves and deliver justice.
