In a shocking incident in Udaipur village, under Rosera block of Samastipur district, jewelry and cash worth approximately ₹27 lakh were stolen from a house. The theft occurred at the residence of Ramayatan Mahto, whose daughter's wedding was scheduled to take place in a few days. The thieves made off with ₹7 lakh in cash and gold and silver ornaments valued at around ₹20 lakh.

The family was engrossed in wedding preparations when the perpetrators struck. Upon discovering the theft, Ramayatan Mahto's family immediately informed the Rosera Police Station. Station House Officer Ashutosh Kumar, along with a police team, promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Police have collected crucial evidence from the site and are questioning locals to gather leads. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits. The incident has caused a stir in the village, leaving residents concerned about their safety.
