Residents of Ward No. 12 in Rosera town, Samastipur district, are currently grappling with severe waterlogging issues. Continuous rainfall has inundated the roads in the ward, making daily commute a significant challenge for the local population. The situation has become so dire that even walking has become extremely difficult.

Main roads and alleys in the ward are submerged in knee-deep water, causing immense hardship, especially for children and the elderly. This condition has persisted since the recent rains, and no proper drainage system has been implemented yet. Local residents report that due to the lack of adequate drainage, they face similar problems every monsoon season. Leaving their homes and accessing markets for daily needs has become a struggle.

Residents claim that despite numerous complaints to the Nagar Parishad and local administration, no concrete action has been taken. The waterlogging has also led to an increase in filth and mosquito breeding, raising concerns about the spread of diseases. Children are also facing difficulties in commuting to and from school.

Local residents have urged the administration to promptly arrange for water drainage and find a permanent solution to this serious problem. They warn that if no action is taken soon, they will be forced to resort to protests.
