Students at RS College in Tarapur, Munger district, staged a peaceful protest and a march on Thursday, advocating for various demands. Led by student Ankit Kumar, the demonstrators closed the college office gate, disrupting daily operations. Students carried placards and chanted slogans against the college administration.

Key demands included the appointment of a permanent principal, correction of examination results, and the provision of adequate books in the library. Students highlighted that some of their peers were erroneously marked absent in their exam results due to a college oversight, and they demanded rectification. Furthermore, they called for the availability of syllabus-appropriate books in the library for all undergraduate and postgraduate semesters. Clean washrooms and generator facilities during power outages were also among the students' demands.

College Principal Dr. Nagendra Kumar Sharma acknowledged the students' concerns as his own. He informed that the washrooms had been cleaned, and correspondence regarding other demands had already been initiated. The principal assured that concrete steps were being taken to address all issues. He also stated that corrections to students' examination results had been made, and syllabus-appropriate books would soon be available in the library. Hundreds of students, including Aniket Kumar, Niket Kumar, Nazuk Jha, Amardeep Kumar, Nishu Kumar, Sonpari Kumari, Nilesh Kumar, and Ajit Kumar, participated in the demonstration.
