A disturbing video showing a teenage girl being harassed in Samastipur district has gone viral on social media. In the video, a group of young men are seen forcibly cornering and misbehaving with the girl. The victim is continuously pleading with them to let her go, saying, 'Please let me go, brother, my house is in Purwari Tola.' The video is reportedly linked to the Kalyanpur area.

While a motorcycle is visible in the viral video, its license plate is not clear. Dainik Jagran does not confirm the authenticity of this viral video or the claims made with it. Cyber DSP Durgesh Deepak has taken cognizance of the matter and initiated an investigation. Police officials stated that they are scrutinizing the video to identify the culprits and expect to crack the case soon.

This is not an isolated incident in Samastipur; similar videos have previously surfaced from the Karpurigram and Musrigharari areas. In those instances, the police took swift action, arresting half a dozen accused. This latest incident has once again raised concerns about harassment in the name of 'moral policing' and the increasing crimes against women.
