समस्तीपुर जिले के मुफस्सिल थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत मोहनपुर रोड पर एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हुआ है। इस हादसे में एक बाइक सवार गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। जानकारी के अनुसार, मोहनपुर रोड पर एक अज्ञात वाहन ने बाइक सवार को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी, जिससे वह सड़क पर गिरकर गंभीर रूप से चोटिल हो गया। टक्कर मारने के बाद अज्ञात वाहन चालक मौके से फरार हो गया।
हादसे की सूचना मिलने पर मुफस्सिल थाने की पुलिस तत्काल घटनास्थल पर पहुंची। पुलिस ने घायल बाइक सवार को सड़क से उठाकर एंबुलेंस के माध्यम से सदर अस्पताल पहुंचाया, जहां उसका इलाज चल रहा है। घायल व्यक्ति की पहचान मोहनपुर थाना क्षेत्र के हरपुर एलौथ गांव निवासी स्व. राम उदगार राय के पुत्र 45 वर्षीय चंद्रभूषण राय के रूप में हुई है। चंद्रभूषण राय बाइक से मोहनपुर की ओर जा रहे थे, तभी यह हादसा हुआ।
पुलिस ने बताया कि अज्ञात वाहन की तलाश की जा रही है। मौके पर मौजूद लोगों से पूछताछ की जा रही है और आसपास के सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले जा रहे हैं ताकि टक्कर मारने वाले वाहन और उसके चालक की पहचान की जा सके। सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन नहीं करने और तेज रफ्तार से वाहन चलाने के कारण इस तरह के हादसे अक्सर होते रहते हैं। पुलिस ने लोगों से अपील की है कि वे वाहन चलाते समय सावधानी बरतें और यातायात नियमों का पालन करें।
