A shocking incident has emerged from Saran district's Amanour police station area, where a six-year-old girl was raped. The incident has sparked widespread anger and tension in the region. Acting swiftly on the written complaint filed by the victim's mother, the police arrested the accused young man. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered under the POCSO Act and other relevant sections.

According to the victim's mother's application to the police, the child was playing outside her home on Thursday evening after returning from school. During this time, a married man living in the neighborhood lured her to his house on the pretext of showing her a mobile phone. It is reported that other family members of the accused were in the fields harvesting paddy, leaving him alone at home.

It is alleged that the accused, finding the child alone, raped her. Hearing the child's cries, her mother arrived at the scene and was horrified by what she saw. Upon learning of the incident, the family became deeply concerned and immediately informed the police by calling Dial 112.

Upon receiving the information, Amanour Station House Officer (SHO) Vimlesh Kumar reached the spot with police personnel. Considering the gravity of the matter, Marhaura SDPO also arrived to assess the situation. The police team inspected the crime scene and subsequently raided potential hideouts to arrest the accused. The victim has been sent to Chapra Sadar Hospital for medical examination and treatment. Further legal proceedings have been initiated with the registration of an FIR under the POCSO Act and other relevant sections. Villagers are demanding severe punishment for the accused, and the police assure a thorough investigation to ensure justice for the victim.
