A welcome ceremony and workers' convention was organized on Tuesday at the Congress office premises in Saur Bazar block of Saharsa district. The event was presided over by Congress Block President Ramsharan Kumar, with Youth Congress's Ajit Sarkar conducting the proceedings. Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President Mohd. Majnu Haider Ali Case, General Secretary Dr. Kapil Dev Kumar, District President Mukesh Kumar Jha, and Congress leader Badri Prasad Yadav, among other leaders, were honored with traditional turbans and shawls.

On this occasion, dozens of youths joined the Congress party, pledging to work for the party and society. Addressing the leaders and workers, District President Mukesh Kumar Jha accused the NDA government of failing to fulfill its 'good days' promises. He alleged that the government is pushing youth towards addiction and that incidents like paper leaks in examinations are jeopardizing students' futures. Jha urged people to remain vigilant. During the program, a two-minute silence was also observed for the youths martyred during a protest at Jantar Mantar. Leaders thanked Saur Congress Block President Ramsharan Kumar for the successful organization of the event. Several other leaders and workers, including Ramkumar Paswan, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Naveen Shankar Jha, Abhimanyu Kumar, and Amar Yadav, attended the program.
